Bay Plaza Hotel Wellington

So glad we choose it, it's cosy base for staying in Wellington.

Fairly clean property with pleasant staff. Room was well-appointed and warm, and breakfast was above average. The hotel had a central location and it was walking distance to Te Aro Park.

Efficient staff, fab food. The staff did all they can for a perfect stay...

Staff and location were amazing overall. Moreover, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the sea and other sights in Wellington.

The location was UNBEATABLE, the public spaces were clean and the staff was helpful. Buffet breakfast was hearty, we liked it. It was close to a museum and a theatre.

Everything was great and we had excellent time. Its location was central, an easy walk to Downstage Theatre.

Overall a brilliant stay - fantastic value for money, considering prices in other hotels. I loved the well managed staff and not expensive breakfasts. I had balcony, WiFi and microwave in my splendid room. The pool was clean and the garden - lovely. Secure location, a short walk to clyde quay wharf.

We liked our stay, it's very good value for money. The food was lovely, service was efficient and the view was marvellous. Comfy beds, climate control and heavy curtains were a nice touch. Late check-out too.

Was an excellent base weekend. Right by the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. Found Hippopotamus, set steps away from the hotel, ate there a few times.

That sometimes the street was noisy.

The hotel is definitely recommended to all. Bay Plaza has a cozy atmosphere. Room was a great value. There were lots of places to get breakfast nearby, like cafes and bars.

Quiet location to explore Wellington and great service. Monsoon Poon is a short walk to the hotel.
